Temporarily freezing a debit card – how does it work?

On your smartphone


1. Log in to your Mobile Banking App.

2. Select Cards

3. Under Debit cards select the card that you would like to temporarily freeze

4. Select Block

5. Select Temporarily freeze

Your card is now temporarily frozen. If you would like to use this card again for purchases and cash withdrawals, you will first need to reactivate it.

On your computer


1. Log in to

2. Select Accounts & Cards and then Freeze or block card

3. Choose the card that you would like to temporarily freeze

4. Choose Freeze

Your card is now temporarily frozen. If you would like to use this card again for purchases and cash withdrawals, you will first need to reactivate it.

3. Under Debit cards choose the card that you would like to reactivate

4. Select Reactivate

5. Decide whether we should activate the standard card functions for you, or whether you would like to to activate the desired functions in the settings yourself

Your card is now ready to use again. You can use your card for purchases and cash withdrawals again.

1. Log in to

2. Select Accounts & Cards and then Freeze or block card

3. Choose the card that you would like to reactivate

4. Choose Reactivate
